Kelsey is an independent photographer, journalist, and filmmaker. She has worked with non-profits and federal agencies in Mali, Uganda, and Washington, D.C. She currently works in Berkeley, California, while pursuing a double Master's in journalism and public health. Kelsey's focus remains on the humanizing aspect of each story, exploring both the positive impacts and negative consequences of media coverage.
